Almeta joined the Foundation in 2001 and brings 10 years experience with both the private and nonprofit sectors to her role coordinating the Foundation's grants management activities. Almeta holds a Master of Nonprofit Management degree from Regis University. Almeta is a Colorado Trust Fellow, member of the Association of Black Foundation Executives, and is the Co-Chair of the Rocky Mountain Region Chapter of the National Grant Managers Network. Additionally, she volunteers with community health, philanthropic and arts organizations.
