Mariah is a Colorado native, who comes to the foundation after living for many years in the Pacific Northwest, the Southwest and the South. She has worked for several not-for-profit organizations, and was the founding editor of the literary journal, Manzanita Quarterly. Mariah holds a B.S. degree in English from Southern Oregon University.
